The ArisAris Sim is hosting a Summer Fashion Fair at the moment called The Summer Fashion Festival - and you can expect so much goodness at this one. Not only that you can find new releases and exclusives from many designers, but there are even gifts and a fashion runway show. So lots of reasons to check this event out.

LnL G41-O74 is a unisex outfit inspired on Sweeney Todd, the fictional character who was a barber (depicted for the first time in a story dating back to 1846 and more recently in a Tim Burton's film). This outfit has a leathery blueish tone on the top (worn as a shirt), a gray on black stripe motiv on the pants (mod) and a knit pattern on the fingerless gloves. It also includes a coat bottom for the female avatar and one for the male avatar, plus a sculpted collar and a buckled belt with a knife (all accessories are resizable for a perfect fit).

Outfit O-67 is a unisex outfit inspired on a dragon. Its vivid reds and oranges depict the texture of a dragon's body with an eye motiv in the neck and belt areas. This outfit includes a top (worn as a shirt), pants (mod) and gloves. It is completed by a coat bottom for the female avatar and for the male avatar, plus a sculpted collar (all elements resizable).

If you are also fed up with winter and dream about chilling in the sun, listening to waves and seagulls - well then good news is here: 22769 ~ casual couture just released a new groupgift with a very maritim appeal. The ladies receive a top and the navy blue wrap-around skirt, and the gentlemen get the sailor tee with cuffs and the white cotton shorts, also with easy to fit cuffs. Taxidermic

FLUX is a kind of new event with monthly changing themes. This time it is taxidermie - so you can expect horns and hooves, cat eyes and fur from a wide range of different designers from all over the grid.
The shown outfit is the share of 22769 ~ casual couture. It contains the antler crown, the belt, the reptile body, the leather pants and the feathers and bones cape. The grey reptile boots match the outfit perfectly and of course these also can be found at the FLUX market.

The Glamouros Life

There is a new hunt in town and it is - by name - glamouros. The Glamour is Hunt is a Bargain Hunt - that means each item is 10 L$. But it is oh so worth it. The participating designers pushed their boundaries and crafted wonderful items to find.
I am wearing the huntgift from 22769 ~ casual couture, a black/golden cocktail dress. I also jumped to the Gallery Gift Shop where the new cycle just started and got myself these adorable Jugendstil Ankle Boots that fit perfectly to the dress. Raise Awareness!

Shopping is fun - no doubt about that. But shopping is even more fun if you can learn something. CHIC organised another brilliant event called Back To Black to spread the word about mental health - or in other words: mental issues that affect not only people with these deseases in everything they do, but also family members and friends.
With every purchase you do at the Back To Black Venue you also receive a notecard explaining one of these issues we normally do not know much about to raise awareness and understanding.

Two years ago on Valentines Day 22769 ~ casual couture opened their gates in the virtual world for the first time. And they kicked off with a Valentines Storehunt. And so it became a tradition that the guys make another Valentines Storehunt every Year at their anniversary. This time it is called "Once more with Love".

So jump to 22769 ~ casual couture, click on the huntsign on the eventswall (shown above) and you receive a notecard with the beginning of a love story and the hint for the first hideout. If you find the item you receive a part of the outfit (one for men, one for women) and also the sequel of the story with the next hint. There are 5 items hidden at 22769 ~ casual couture and if you found all of them you will have the outfits in the first picture (including the shoes) as reward.
The hunt runs 10th February - 20th February - so better hurry up and bring your significant other with you for some doublehunting fun. ^^

Today I choose a rather extravagant look. But first of all something personal - and i figured out that one of the most personal things within SL is your avatars shape. We hardly change our shapes since they represent our virtual selfes best.
