Holidays without Guys

Greetings everyone,

before I show you my personal look on this blog, I want to take the chance to introduce myself to you.
Well, my Name is Mondra Kira and I love second life fashion (okay wich girl does not?). So I ended up asking Paco and Manu if I can blog some of my finds here. And what should I say: The two are very supportive and not only offer me help, they also let me practice on WTN.
But before I start this blogpost, a little vacation was on my list. And for the holidays I left the guys at home. So it was me alone walking around, do some shopping and eat a lot of icecream. (and I already know that my workout trainer will get nuts if I complain the next time we meet). But I think that is a different story to tell.

Okay Sweets, now it's time to say a little bit about my todays look. The hair is from HS Hair. Sadly, the store closed a few weeks ago.

The Skin is my new favorite from Dutch Touch.

The Shape is from my dear friend Xanthe Audebourgh of CS Shapes. I use her Lana Shape as my daily shape. And I just love it !

The clothing I'm wearing is from 22769 ~ casual couture. The Spring Top is a new release from them. You find them in the store in different styles and colors, for just 80L$. The jeans I've taken from my inventory.

The Glamouros Life

There is a new hunt in town and it is - by name - glamouros. The Glamour is Hunt is a Bargain Hunt - that means each item is 10 L$. But it is oh so worth it. The participating designers pushed their boundaries and crafted wonderful items to find.
I am wearing the huntgift from 22769 ~ casual couture, a black/golden cocktail dress. I also jumped to the Gallery Gift Shop where the new cycle just started and got myself these adorable Jugendstil Ankle Boots that fit perfectly to the dress. The Hair is from the (sadly) closing sale of TEKUTEKU and the shape is the adorable Catriona Shape from CS Shapes.

The Spiders from Mars

Today I choose a rather extravagant look. But first of all something personal - and i figured out that one of the most personal things within SL is your avatars shape. We hardly change our shapes since they represent our virtual selfes best. But now you have a reason todo so: CS Shapes reopened thank god - and the shapes from Xanthe Audeburgh are by far the best ones I stumbeled across on the grid. And even better: The Catronia Shape is currently on sale for just 10 L$ - and the package you receive is splendid. Not only you get 3 different shapes but also 4 eyebrow shaper. The shape looks natural, curvy and elegant.
The Pink Reptile Boots are the Womenstuff Huntgift from 22769 ~ casual couture and come with alpha layer. The body I am wearing is part of the 22769 ~ Mardi Gras Gown for the FLUX event that also openes tomorrow. The coat - to make three - again is from 22769 ~ casual couture and is the current 100 L$ item at the FTLO Black Market.
Have you noticed the wonderful facepainting? It was in last weeks La Venta Eventa Sale and comes from The Plastic. And finally the headpiece - that matches my overall look just so good - comes from MADesigns Hair and is called ~Ines~.

Black Market in Black and White

The second cycle of the Black Market is on - this time with a twist: All items are trans - so you can buy them as a gift for someone else. 22769 ~ casual coutures offering is this neat houndstooth coat for the steal of 100 L$.

Real Men wear Kilts

Tomorrow another Male Hunt starts - the Men Only Hunt sponsored by Belleza. Many unique and wonderful gifts can be found here - so christmas comes a bit early this year for the lads.

Dressed enough for your X-Mas Party?

The holiday season comes like in turbospeed to SL - and as a X-Mas Tradition the Candy Cane Hunt 3 is back! And there are so many wonderful gifts to find there for just 1 L$ each.
The huntgift from 22769 ~ casual couture is this neat candy cane silk scarf which comes with resizer and is - of course - unisex.

Love 4 Linnen

Like on every 15th of the month 22769 ~ casual couture released their new groupgift - and this time it is all about the love for linnen. The groupgift contains some comfi linnen pants with sculpted cuffs, a cafe au lait striped tanktop and an open linnen shirt with neat horn buttons. The gift includes a homme and a femme version and of course the bottom prim of the open shirt comes with resizer.
