We are entering the MAD season in SL - all favorite holidays are in there - beginning with Halloween, Thanksgiving, X-Mas, New Years... all the crazy deco fun stuff in second life. Well - there is one bank holiday I have not mentioned since the residents - no matter where they come from - are used to celebrate only the American holidays in SL. But there is also a German one - and since the guys from 22769 ~ casual couture are Germans they thought: "Ok - SL is a melting pot of many different nationalities and cultures. So let's celebrate the German Reunification Day." And there is enough space for France, Turkish, Spanish, Swedish, Italien, Indian, Chinese, African or other nations bank holidays also.


The German Reunification Day is one of the most important holidays in Germany. It marks the date when Eastern and Western Germany became to one nation again. A symbol for this day is definitely the Berlin Wall - so you will find the Berlin Wall in the 22769 ~ Flagshipstore. And just like last year 22769 ~ casual couture provides you with freebies and dollarbies matching the topic. This time they also have a mesh retro ostalgie miniskirt (10 L$) for you.
But better hurry up - the German Reunification Day is on the 3rd October. And the offer stays in the shop til 4th October.

The Skulls'n'Bones Hunt is up and running and pirates are the summer topic anyways. So the Skulls'n'Bones Hunt is your chance to gain a lot of fantastic pirate items for low money.
22769 ~ casual couture created this pirate cabin boy contining breeches, a ripped linnen shirt a bandana and a fabric wrapped around your waist. The prim parts are easy to fit and the outfit - of course - is unisex.
So wait not any longer - look for the small treasure box in the 22769 shop. Oh - and with this hunt you have to pay 1 gold doubloon (aka 1 L$) for the huntgift - otherwise the curse of the pirates will follow you in your wet grave and beyond ;-)

Skull and Bones Hunt and New Pirate Outfit Release!

Outfit 138 is fantastic! This pirate is wearing a buttoned jacket (worn as a shirt), dark blue pants (mod) and gloves with shirt flares (resizable). It also brings one coat bottom for the female avatar and one for the male avatar, a collar, plus a belt with a flintlock gun, a sword and a pair of boots (resizable).

All pirates need a pirate hat! So, to go with this outfit, you might like to have the dark blue pirate hat, decorated with a golden adornment and two feathers (on the poster, but NOT included in this package, as it is a prize (1L) for the ongoing Skull and Bones Hunt that lasts between July 1 and July 31 - hint giver by the hunt posters).

An end and a beginning...

As for now the first "What's The News Hunt" is over and we want to take this opportunity to say a big "Thank You" to all merchants who crafted amazing and wonderful gifts and also to all hunters who joined us on this adventure.
